November 3rd Council: the Lynnwood Flock network has been paused as of 10/29 pending further assessment.

October 24th: LPD releases a statement about Lynnwood’s Flock network being used for immigration searches, only after being revealed by journalists.

October 21st: University of Washington uncovers that Lynnwood’s Flock network was used to perform immigration searches, a fact that LPD had not disclosed.

July 10th: Access restricted to only Washington state law enforcement agencies that have signed Lynnwood’s user agreement. (See records request page for all signed agreements) [source]

July 8th: LPD determines that enabling the “Nationwide search” feature allows bidirectional nation wide searches. [source]

July 1st: Franklin County Sheriff (PA) and Jacksonville Police Department (FL) use Lynnwood’s Flock network to perform immigration related searches. [source]
